Hi Juan,
Each laptop has the CMS 1500 PDF file on the hard drive. They are not able to sync with the other laptops for that reason.
If you find that you are using multiple laptops, and want to continue working with an existing claim or file on a different compter, save the file to a USB flash drive, not the current computer hard drive. Then when you are on another computer you can insert the USB flash drive and continue working on the claim or file you started.
Hope that helps,
Dna
Hi Terry,
Thanks for sharing about your issue and the solution you found. In looking on Adobe's website it is not clear why this would be happening. If you can, let me know your current Adobe Reader version that you reinstalled.
Best regards,
Dan
Hi Koji,
Thanks for reaching out. Be sure to close out other software, then open Adobe Reader, the file. Often when you click on the file icon, another program will open, such as Mac Preview or even a browser.
Once Adobe is open it should work. If you find it is not while in Adobe Reader, let me know and I will send the files again, as perhaps they have gotten changed somehow.
Best regards,
Dan
Hi Bear,
I got your message about needing to print text only.
Close out the programs and the file you have open
Here is how to do that.
First - Close out the file you may have open
Open the free Adobe Reader
- If you need to download Adobe Reader, please use this link below to install on Mac or Windows.
Within Adobe Reader, open the file
Now use the button at the top left of the form to print and save.
This will control the print option.
Choose text only from the menu.
If you find that the information is out of alignment
– please send a scan with some fake information on it showing how it prints out
– then I can adjust the template to work with your printer.
Best regards,
Dan
Hi Juan,
I would not use the cloud option if you do not already have an account that you use with Adobe. Just save to your computer.
Just choose the option to save to computer. When given the option to save, choose "your computer" not Adobe cloud storage. Then use the button that says "choose a different folder" to decide what folder you want to save the file in on your computer.
Hope that helps!

Hi Juan,
That is a feature of Adobe - which you should ignore. Just choose the option to save to computer. When given the option to save, choose "your computer" not Adobe cloud storage. Then use the button that says "choose a different folder" to decide what folder you want to save the file in on your computer.
Hope that helps!

Hi Juan,
The form is a downloadable file, separate from Adobe Acrobat. You will open the file within Adobe Acrobat Reader however. I will send the files to your email with instructions.
Best regards,
Dan
I will send you an adjusted version to work with your printer.
Best regards,
Dan
Hi Janice,
Thanks for sending over a scan of how it prints out. I will send you an adjusted version to work with your printer.
Best regards,
Dan
