Hello! The standard font for the CMS 1500, which is used in the Fiachra Forms fillable PDF, is Times New Roman 10 point. This is universally accepted by the optical character recognition scanners. If the font is not being accepted, it is most likely that you're opening and printing the form with a software other than Adobe Reader. Please try opening Adobe Reader first, then open the form from within Adobe Reader and see if that works.

If you need to download the CMS 1500 fillable PDF again for any reason, please reach out to me by email: dan@fiachraforms.com.

Thank you,

Dan

This happened to me, and opening pdf first didn't help. My issue was that some of the number font was correct in some fields, but some where smaller. What I did to fix was to delete the number and then click out of the field entirely. Then clicked back in field and typed the same number. It then magically matched the rest. Make no sense to me, but happened to figure it out for my issue and wanted to share!

Hi ldurkin,

Thanks for sharing your experience.  I am always amazed the number or things that can come into play - what machine you are using, operating system, PDF software and more.  Thanks for sharing what worked for you.

Best regards,

Dan
